Qualifications and experience
A life-long dancer in many styles.
A qualified physiotherapist
in practice for 10 years.
Taught dance in schools for 16 years
and taught gymnastics for people with a disability for 26
years.
Formerly National Coach for the men’s
disabilities national squad, and member of he national
technical committee.
Studied Parkinson’s Dance at beginner
and intermediate level with Community Dance Network.
Workshops with Rambert Dance Company
in Choeography for Older Adults, Dance for Older People,
Dance for Parkinson’s and Dementia and Dance.
Recently devised a programme of seated
gymnastics which is now being taken up nationally: ‘Love to
Move’ programme
(on the British Gymnastics Foundation website).
